Job Description

Select's Water Transfer department performs a variety of general manual labor tasks, including, but not limited to, laying flat hose and underground pipeline systems from water sources to customer frac jobs. Works on a crew and is responsible for setting up, operating and rigging down jobs safely.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

• Applies basic skills in loading and unloading pipe, field materials and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transport.
• Duties may consist of laying and picking up poly line, laying flat hose, running transfer pumps and essential equipment for water transfer operations.
• Sets and servicing pumps and generators at job sites.
• Uses common hand and power tools.
• Assists in containment and spill clean ups.
• Driving trucks (non-CDL) and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel and perform job task (Applies to Operators II, III, and Lead).
• Follows all safety procedures, uses proper PPE and successfully completes required trainings.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

• 4 plus years of related work experience and/or equivalent training required.
• Valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select's insurance guidelines, required.
• Experience in the energy industry is a plus
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, machines and tools, including the designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Highschool diploma or GED, preferred.
• Physical stamina.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Compensation Information

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Physical Demands and Exposures

• Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
• Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
• Prolonged sitting, standing, walking.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to individually lift: Maximum 50 lbs.
