Our Client is seeking a Slitting Machine Operator for its manufacturing team. This is a full-time, direct hire position, meaning you will be hired directly by the employer from day one and will not work through a temporary staffing agency.
This role is responsible for operating slitting and material-handling equipment, processing foam products to customer specifications, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting safe, efficient production operations.

Our Client is seeking a Slitting Machine Operator for its manufacturing team. This is a full-time, direct hire position, meaning you will be hired directly by the employer from day one and will not work through a temporary staffing agency.
This role is responsible for operating slitting and material-handling equipment, processing foam products to customer specifications, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting safe, efficient production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate slitting equipment to process foam products according to customer specifications
- Safely operate overhead cranes and production equipment
- Support production planning and material preparation activities
- Create production batches and maintain accurate production records
- Perform inventory audits and support FIFO inventory management
- Load scrap materials onto conveyors and assist with baling operations
- Enter production and material data into computer systems
- Monitor product quality and communicate production concerns
- Follow all safety, quality, and work procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Cross-train on additional equipment and manufacturing processes
- Machine operation experience required
- Manufacturing experience required
- Chemical manufacturing experience preferred
- Crane operation experience preferred or ability to complete training
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow detailed work instructions
- Basic math, computer, and data-entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable work history and dependable attendance
- Ability to perform physical material-handling duties
- Must pass a pre-employment math assessment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn multiple machines and production processes
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
