We are seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant/Scribe to join our growing and thriving organization. This is your opportunity to perform support functions to the eye practices of the department and gain exposure as an ophthalmology scribe.

This is a great opportunity for Pre-Med Students!

This role will start in May 2027 and is a 1-year Contract!

What You Do

• Work 36 hours a week. Monday-Friday
• Hours are between 8:00am-5:00pm
• Position locations vary and do include some travel

What You Get

• Starting Pay: $17.93 hour + more for experience!
• There are four positions available:
• Work with General Ophthalmology, primarily out of La Crosse and opportunity to travel to Onalaska and Tomah. Team member will work with him in clinic and surgery.
• Work with General Ophthalmologist, working out of La Crosse and opportunity to travel to Winona, Whitehall, and Viroqua. Team member will work with him in clinic and surgery.
• Work with General Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma Specialist, working solely out of La Crosse. Team member will work in clinic solely.
• Work with Retinal Specialist, working solely out of La Crosse. Team member will work with him in clinic and surgery.

What You Need

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 6 months customer service and/or public relations experience
