We are a well-established and growing private ophthalmology practice located in York, Pennsylvania, committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered eye care. As our practice expands, we are seeking a dedicated General Ophthalmologist to join our team.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive general ophthalmic care to a diverse patient population
Perform ocular exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures as appropriate
Collaborate with the practice's glaucoma/retina specialist for comprehensive patient care
Support practice growth, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
Fellowship in Cornea welcomed but not required
Excellent clinical, surgical, and communication skills

Minimum Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and
Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Teaching skills.
Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Good phone skills.
Excellent Customer Service.
