Optic Operator OAN Production · Administration & Olds Station Warehouse

Number of openings: 1 Fulltime, Year Round

Location: A Line - Olds

Working Shift: Night Shift

Hours & Work Days: 4:00 pm - 12:30 am, Monday - Friday; May require weekends as needed.

This position will require a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Oracle and Discoverer capabilities.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Must be able to read, speak and write English.
• Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds.

Duties:

• Displays an excellent ability to communicate.
• Can read and understand pack schedules.
• Sets up fruit drops on the sizer.
• Adjusts sizer weight and colors per grade requirement.
• Maintains pace with production line.
• Maintains efficient and clean work area.
• Know Stemilt fruit grades.
• Consistently striving to improve sorting capabilities of the machine.
• Must be able to compile daily data and send to appropriate groups.
• Utilize the full spectrum of tools at hand to maximize grower returns.
• Mechanically inclined.
• May encompass other duties than those listed.
