Description

We are a busy, patient-focused Optometrist’s office known for delivering exceptional service and high-quality eyewear. We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Optical Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Optical experience is helpful but not required — we will train the right person. If you enjoy helping people and thrive in a retail environment, this is a great opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with selecting frames and lenses based on prescription, lifestyle, and style preferences
  • Recommend lens options and coatings to meet visual needs
  • Perform accurate optical measurements and basic eyewear adjustments
  • Provide guidance on Managed Vision Care benefits and coverage
  • Ensure accurate pricing, POS entry, and delivery time estimates
  • Support a strong retail sales culture through product knowledge and effective selling skills
  • Build positive relationships with doctors, teammates, and patients
  • Maintain merchandising standards and keep the optical area clean and organized
  • Collaborate with the team to improve sales and patient experience
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of retail sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, energetic attitude
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow‑through
  • Comfortable learning new skills and adapting to change
  • Computer proficiency preferred

Schedule

  • Office open Monday–Saturday
  • Closed Sundays and major holidays
  • Evening and weekend availability required
