Looking for a people-focused opportunity where you can learn something new and build a career in eye care? Phaxis is looking for an Optician 1 to join a friendly eye care team in Belmont, NC!

No optical experience? No problem! Previous optical experience is preferred, but our client is willing to train the right person who brings great customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcome patients with a friendly, professional attitude
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out
• Answer phones and help schedule appointments
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the patient experience
• Assist with front desk and administrative tasks
• Learn the optical side of the practice and grow your skills
• Help keep the office organized and running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Customer service experience is a plus
• Optical experience preferred, but not required
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with people
• Strong attention to detail
• Good time-management and multitasking skills
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Dependable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
