Optician 1 No Optical Experience? We ll Train You!

We're hiring an Optician 1 to join a busy eye care practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, working with patients, and learning something new every day.

Optical experience is a plus, but it's not required! We're willing to train someone with the right attitude, strong customer service skills, and a desire to learn.

What You'll Do

As an Optician 1, you'll play an important role in creating a great experience for every patient. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and assisting patients in a friendly, professional manner
• Answering phones and assisting patients with questions
• Scheduling and coordinating appointments
• Checking patients in and out
• Assisting patients with their optical needs
• Helping patients navigate their visit and understand next steps
• Performing front desk and administrative duties
• Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation
• Providing exceptional customer service throughout the patient experience
• Working closely with the practice team to keep the office running smoothly

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, professional, and comfortable working with patients.

You'll ideally have:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A positive, personable attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• The ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Basic computer skills
• Professional presentation
• 1+ year of customer service or related experience preferred
• Optical or healthcare experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person!
