We’re looking for an Optician 1 to join a patient-focused eye care practice in Sunnyvale, CA.

Optical experience is preferred, but we’re open to training the right candidate. We’re looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, a professional attitude, and a genuine desire to help patients.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be an important part of the patient experience, helping patients feel welcomed and supported throughout their visit.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and assisting patients

• Answering phones and assisting with patient questions

• Scheduling and coordinating appointments

• Checking patients in and out

• Assisting patients with their optical needs

• Providing friendly, professional customer service

• Helping patients understand their visit and next steps

• Handling front desk and administrative responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate patient information

• Working collaboratively with the practice team

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a patient-facing environment.

Qualifications include:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Good organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize

• Basic computer skills

• Professional presentation

• 1+ year of customer service or related experience preferred

• Optical or healthcare experience is a plus

• Willingness to learn and grow
