Scope covers CAD modelling, drawing release, fixture design, and BOM/PLM upkeep.* CAD modelling of parts and assemblies* Drawing release* Fixture design* BOM/PLM upkeepQualifications:* Part and assembly modelling in Siemens NX (Creo, SolidWorks, or CATIA acceptable in place of NX, with ability to ramp on NX)* 2D drawings with GD&T (ASME Y14.5); release-quality output* Tolerance analysis at part and assembly level* Fixture and tooling design for assembly, inspection, or test* BOM management and change control in a PLM system (Teamcenter preferred; Windchill, Enovia, or Arena acceptable in place of Teamcenter)* Working knowledge of machining, molding, and sheet metal DFMPreferred Qualifications:* Opto-mechanical design: mounting and constraining optical components; low-stress and kinematic mounting* Fixtures for optical assembly, alignment, or measurement (multi-axis adjustment, bonding, inspection)* Precision mechanisms or high-tolerance assembly experienceCompensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
