Optometrist (Part-time)

Looking for a part‑time role that feels rewarding, balanced, and genuinely enjoyable? This well-established ophthalmology practice is welcoming a skilled OD to join their team in their Fort Myers and Punta Gorda offices, offering a $700 per diem and a supportive environment you'll love.

Your Weekly Schedule:

• Monday: Fort Myers
• Wednesday: Punta Gorda
• Friday: Fort Myers

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional post‑op care (cataracts, lids, pseudophakic exams)
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions
• Prescribe glasses, contacts, and vision solutions
• Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
• Keep up with evolving optometry practices

Requirements:

• A valid state optometry license or one actively being obtained is required.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable seeing postoperative patients, primarily cataract post-op cases, as well as lid post-op cases and pseudophakic exams.
