    Job Description

    Whitewater Eye Centers is looking for a full-time Optometrist to join our physician-owned, multi-location practice serving Indiana and Ohio.
    This position will primarily work in our Richmond, Connersville, and Greenfield offices and will include a mix of routine vision care and medical eye care. You’ll work alongside experienced ophthalmologists, optometrists, technicians, and support staff, with an established patient base already in place.
     
    Compensation and Benefits
    • Guaranteed base salary of $95,000–$150,000, based on experience and qualifications
    • Additional quarterly productivity compensation based on attributable collections
    • 15 paid days annually for vacation, personal time, and continuing education
    • Up to $5,000 annually for eligible continuing education and other professional or business-related expenses
    • Employer-paid Indiana licensure fees

    • 401(k) and profit-sharing eligibility
    • Relocation assistance based on the candidate’s circumstances and distance of relocation
     
    Responsibilities
    • Perform comprehensive eye exams and provide routine vision care
    • Diagnose and manage ocular conditions within the scope of optometric practice
    • Provide medical eye care and ongoing disease management
    • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and eye health
    • Coordinate patient care with ophthalmologists and other members of the clinical team
    • Complete accurate and timely patient documentation
    • Travel between assigned locations based on scheduling and patient needs
     
    Qualifications
    • Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
    • Current Indiana optometry license or ability to obtain one
    • Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills
    • Ability to work well with physicians, clinical staff, and patients
    • New graduates and experienced optometrists are welcome to apply
