Job Requirements

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be the technical lead for our Finance Systems team. You will build, improve, and maintain high-performing cloud software that powers our accounting, payments, purchasing, and billing systems.

You will work closely with finance teams, architects, software engineers, and outside vendors to turn business needs into secure, easy-to-use software.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build & Design Software

Design and build integrations and custom applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder (VB Studio), and Redwood Design standards.

Create custom reports using BI Publisher and complex SQL database queries.

Write clean, secure, and fast code for both back-end systems and front-end user screens.

Explore and apply AI tools to automate manual tasks and make financial processes faster.

2. Support Finance Operations

Keep core finance systems running smoothly for teams in Procurement, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Collections, and General Ledger (GL).

Support critical financial routines, including month-end financial close, audits, and financial reporting.

Find and fix bugs quickly when system issues happen, and create long-term fixes so problems don't happen again.

Work with Oracle Technical Support to track and resolve system bugs.

3. Team Leadership & Quality

Guide and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical coaching.

Use test automation tools to make sure software works reliably before deploying it.

Create clear technical documentation for applications and operational workflows.

Help project managers and finance teams plan software updates, budgets, and project timelines.

What We Are Looking For

Experience & Education

Experience: At least 7 years in software engineering, with 5+ years focused on Oracle Cloud ERP / Financials.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Master's degree is a plus.

Core Technical Skills

Deep hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Financials (AP, AR, GL, Procurement, Collections).

Strong development skills using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Visual Builder (VB Studio).

Advanced SQL skills for working with large, complex databases.
