Job Description Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and Eligible to workimize enterprise Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle RAC, performance tuning, Oracle Data Guard, GoldenGate, and database upgrades in UNIX environments.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC in UNIX environments.

Experience upgrading Oracle RAC 19c/23ai and Oracle GoldenGate 23ai environments.

Expertise in configuring and supporting Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle Data Guard.

Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, shell scripting, and Perl.

Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Toad, and SQL Developer.

Knowledge of Oracle Exadata and large-scale database environments.

Administer and support enterprise Oracle database environments.

Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement Eligible to workimization strategies.

Manage Oracle RAC configurations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.

Build, configure, and support Oracle GoldenGate replication and Oracle Data Guard environments.

Perform database monitoring, backup, recovery, and high-availability support.

Develop and maintain shell scripts and Perl scripts for database administration tasks.

Participate in on-call support and resolve critical database incidents.

Collaborate with project teams to maintain database stability, availability, and performance.

Maintain a proactive approach to troubleshooting and demonstrate a collaborative attitude.
