Job Description:

This role focuses on designing, implementing and Eligible to workimizing enterprise grade data replication and database solutions using Oracle Golden Gate and Oracle Database Administration. The Technology Specialist will ensure secure, resilient and highly available data platforms that support critical business applications and contribute to reliable digital services for customers and communities

Responsibilities :

Design and implement robust Oracle Golden Gate replication architectures that ensure consistent real time data availability for critical business applications -Administer Oracle databases across development test and production environments while maintaining high standards for performance reliability and security -Monitor database and replication health using enterprise tools and scripts to identify issues early and prevent service disruption for business stakeholders -Perform capacity planning for databases and Golden Gate components to support future business growth while Eligible to workimizing resource utilization and infrastructure costs -Develop and maintain detailed runbooks and operational procedures so that support teams can resolve incidents consistently and efficiently -Execute database backup recovery and cloning activities to safeguard business data and support testing initiatives with minimal downtime -Troubleshoot complex replication and database incidents by analyzing logs performance metrics and configuration details to restore normal service quickly -Implement database and Golden Gate configuration changes following defined change management processes to reduce risk and maintain audit readiness -Collaborate with application teams to design database schemas replication strategies and integration approaches that align with functional and reporting needs -Eligible to workimize SQL queries indexes and database parameters to improve transaction throughput reporting performance and overall system responsiveness -Coordinate environment refreshes patching cycles and version upgrades to keep platforms current supported and resilient without impacting business operations -Document architecture diagrams configuration baselines and operational standards so that the wider technology organization can understand and support the landscape -Engage in root cause analysis after incidents and implement preventive improvements that strengthen system resilience and enhance customer trust -Qualifications -Possess extensive hands on experience in Oracle Golden Gate configuration administration monitoring and performance tuning across multiple environments -Demonstrate strong Oracle Database Administration expertise covering installation patching backup recovery performance tuning and user security management -Apply solid knowledge of SQL PL SQL and database design principles to build reliable scalable and maintainable data solutions for enterprise applications -Bring practical experience in working within hybrid work models collaborating effectively with distributed teams using remote friendly tools and practices -Show proficiency in incident management problem management and change management within structured IT service frameworks to support stable operations -Exhibit strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to translate technical findings into clear actions that support business priorities -Value continuous learning and stay current with Oracle features emerging database technologies and industry best practices to drive ongoing improvement
