Oracle EBS Technical Consultant - Financials

Role Description

8-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite applications.

Strong technical expertise across EBS modules.

Deep knowledge of Oracle database objects.

Experience working closely with functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong technical hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12 Modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM, including customizations, performance improvements, and building integrations.
• Design and develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows (RICEW) objects aligned with Finance business processes.
• Proficient in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI/XML Publisher, and concurrent program development.
• Develop and manage Concurrent Programs and request sets.
• Build and maintain integrations using Oracle APIs, open interfaces, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Provide support for Oracle Financials, debug and troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with functional teams for resolution.
• Prepare technical design documents, unit test plans, and support SIT/UAT and deployment activities.
• Exposure to Apache NiFi for data ingestion, transformation, and routing; ability to integrate NiFi pipelines with Oracle EBS or Cloud systems is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong communication and collaboration skills across business and IT teams.
• Partner with Offshore team and provide guidance to enhance domain and technical knowledge ensuring deliverables meet customer expectations.
• Collaborate with functional teams for root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Ensure SLA adherence and proactive risk mitigation.
• Support Functional Testing, UAT activities, provide resolution of identified issues, and perform mock and production deployment.
• Ensure proper version control, release management, and documentation standards.
• Provide clear communication of risks, dependencies, and progress updates.
