Job Description:
Oracle Record to Report Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Oracle Cloud R2R Solution Architect to lead enterprise-scale finance transformation initiatives, focusing on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Cloud Fusion migrations. The ideal candidate will serve as the functional and solution lead for the Record-to-Report (R2R) workstream, driving financial process standardization, global chart of accounts (COA) redesign, financial close optimization, and integration with upstream/downstream enterprise systems including EPM platforms.

This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, strong finance domain knowledge, stakeholder management, and the ability to architect scalable cloud-based finance solutions supporting global operations, compliance, and future M&A growth.


Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Transformation

  • Lead the end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) workstream for Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation programs.
  • Define and architect Oracle Fusion Financials solutions covering:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Fixed Assets (FA)
    • Cash Management (CM)
    • Subledger Accounting (SLA)
    • Accounting Hub (as applicable)
  • Design scalable finance operating models aligned with business transformation goals.
  • Drive global Chart of Accounts (COA) redesign, ledger strategy, and financial governance frameworks.
  • Standardize accounting processes, close cycles, reconciliations, and reporting structures across geographies.

Functional Leadership

  • Conduct finance process workshops and gather business requirements from CFO organizations and finance leadership.
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle Fusion functional and solution designs.
  • Advise on best practices for financial close, consolidation, intercompany accounting, and compliance reporting.
  • Support future-state finance transformation roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives.

Migration & Implementation

  • Lead Lift-and-Shift financial migration from Oracle EBS / legacy ERP systems to Oracle Fusion.
  • Ensure integrity and reconciliation of historical financial data, balances, and ledgers.
  • Define data conversion, validation, and reconciliation strategies.
  • Oversee configuration, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and cutover activities.
  • Develop testing scenarios and reconciliation controls for finance modules.

Integration & Reporting

  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations with:
    • EPM systems
    • Procurement
    • Treasury
    • Tax
    • Banking platforms
    • Reporting and analytics solutions
  • Ensure audit readiness, statutory compliance, and reporting accuracy.
  • Support financial reporting, reconciliation automation, and close optimization initiatives.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with senior business stakeholders, finance controllers, and IT leadership.
  • Provide implementation governance, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Lead offshore/onshore teams and mentor junior consultants.
  • Support hypercare, stabilization, and post-go-live optimization.
