The Advanced Medical Support Assistant (AMSA) will provide comprehensive administrative and patient support services to VHA facilities throughout Northern California, including San Francisco, San Bruno, Santa Rosa, Oakland, Eureka, Clearlake, and Ukiah. AMSAs will support daily healthcare operations through patient registration, appointment scheduling and coordination, check-in/check-out, medical record management, data entry, documentation, and patient follow-up.
