Mountain Projects is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Order Entry Clerk to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and processing customer orders, maintaining order records, and ensuring timely communication between customers and internal departments. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service while maintaining data accuracy. Key Responsibilities
Receive, review, and accurately enter customer orders into the company's order management system.
Verify order information, including customer details, product descriptions, quantities, pricing, and shipping instructions.
Review orders for accuracy and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with customers and internal departments.
Process order modifications, cancellations, and updates as needed.
Maintain accurate customer and order records in company databases.
Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers and team members.
Coordinate with sales, inventory, warehouse, and shipping teams to support timely order fulfillment.
Generate order confirmations, invoices, and other related documentation.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
Assist with administrative duties and support additional operational tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
Previous experience in order entry, customer service, administrative support, or data entry preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry applications.
Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience using order management, ERP, or CRM software.
Knowledge of order processing and inventory procedures.
