What We Do:
Qwikkit is transforming apartment cabinet renovations by making the process faster, simpler, and more cost-effective. Our team combines decades of industry experience with technology, automation, and continuous improvement to deliver quality products to our customers.
Our Shipping team prepares completed cabinet components for safe and accurate delivery. Correct part counts, protective materials, crush-zone spacing, labeling, and loading practices are essential to preventing shipping damage, avoiding missing components, and ensuring each customer receives a complete order.
What You Will Learn:
How to read Qwikkit packing plans, order labels, and shipping documentation.
How to identify doors, drawer fronts, moulding, and other finished components.
How to package parts using the correct protective materials and crush-zone spacing.
How to count and verify parts before an order leaves the packaging station.
How to inspect finished components for scratches, dents, damage, and finish defects.
How to label and organize completed packages in the correct shipping sequence.
How to load FedEx boxes safely and prepare the trailer for scheduled pickup.
How to identify and report packing-plan, material, quality, and inventory issues.
How packaging quality affects shipping damage and the customer experience.
How to support other Shipping functions, including strapping, box closing, trailer loading, and pallet operations.
What Impact You Will Make:
Your attention to detail will help ensure every order leaves the packaging station complete, protected, and correctly labeled. By verifying part counts, following packing plans, and identifying damaged or incorrect components, you will help prevent remakes, additional freight costs, customer complaints, and installation delays.
You will also support an efficient Shipping operation by maintaining a steady workflow, keeping materials stocked, preparing FedEx shipments on time, and communicating problems before they affect daily shipping goals.
What You Will Become:
You will strengthen your knowledge of finished-product handling, order verification, shipping documentation, protective packaging, quality inspection, and material flow. You will also develop an understanding of how final packaging decisions directly affect product quality and customer satisfaction.
As your experience grows, you may have opportunities to cross-train in other Shipping positions, including Strapper, Box Closer, FedEx, Truck Loader, and Pallet Operator. Consistent performance may also prepare you for future lead responsibilities within the Shipping team.
