Order processing specialist / data entry – Onsite Troy, MI - $20/HR

Overview

 Growing 3^rd party logistics (3PL) services company is seeking a detail-oriented order processing specialist,to support daily order processing functions. This role is heavily focused on data entry and administrative support, while also assisting customers via phone and email.  This is not a public-facing/front-desk position.

Type of Hire: Temp (Possible perm)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: On-site Troy, MI 48083

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay: $20.00/hr.

Work Environment: Combination of office and warehouse

Dress Code: Casual

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and maintain customer and order data into the billing system, with daily order volume of nearly 200 orders per day.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
• Maintain a strong understanding of company products, services, and policies
• Support order processing and related administrative functions
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation and system updates

Qualifications

• Previous customer service / order entry experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong data entry and computer navigation skills
• Ability to type 40-50 WPM
• Strong experience and skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams
