JOB TITLE Human Resources Training and Development Coordinator

SUMMARY: Position will manage the initial onboarding of new staff and ongoing support needed to be successful in their positions. Plan and administer training programs to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge to effectively meet the mission of Frontier Health. Position may include the delivery of training or supervising a team of instructors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, health or business related field preferred.

Licensure: N/A

Certification: PHR preferred.

Experience: Two years experience in a mental health care environment preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledgeable in all general HR practices and legal issues.
• Recruiting and interviewing skills. Skilled in all major computer applications.
• Verbal/written communication skills.

EQUIPMENT: Computer, fax, copier and any other equipment required to perform the functions of the position.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage the initial orientation of all new employees

2. Prepare progress reports for the senior management team and maintain employees' training records.

3. Maintain and onboarding program that supports staff and supervisors during the 90 day orientation period.

4. Maintain supervision of the annual evaluation process and training for supervisors related to the catalytic coaching system.

5. Maintain leadership training system via Kronos system.

6. Maintains tracking on areas of responsibilities.

7. Manage Relias software, to include staff assignments.

8. Continually evaluate workforce's current skill levels and compare them with the skills required to meet future business objectives.

9. Discuss training requirements with departmental heads and develop training programs to improve skills throughout Frontier. May assist with outside training or use online training programs to supplement the face-to-face sessions delivered by instructors.

10. Follow-up on all delinquent employee-related documentation.

11. Monitors and ensures compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.

12. Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and inservices and individual program planning staffing's as needed.

13. Provides HR training guidance and interpretation for audits and compliance.

14. Maintains relationships with training vendors.

15. Drives the CPR certification and compliance for all new hires and recertifications.

16. Takes actions to ensure employee engagement in areas of reasonability.

17. All other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
