The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience as an orthodontic dental assistant but willing to train the right person who is detailed oriented, a people person, and enjoys working in a team environment! Must have a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills to develop a good report with patients and parents.

Must be comfortable with the following duties and have the willingness to obtain following certifications:
Chairside assistance to orthodontist & preparation of the procedure.
Comfortable assisting independently with knowledge of bonding, debonds, wire, and bracket placement.
Fabrication of dental appliances such as Essix retainers.
Knowledgeable with aligners systems and using Itero machine and 3D printer.
Confidently speak to patients and parents.
Responsible for stocking and ordering supplies.
Sterilization of instruments and clinical bays to turn over for the next patient.
Cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Knowledgeable with computers, Cloud9 software a plus.
Currently have Maryland X-ray Certifications and Expanded Functions Certificate in Orthodontics or must obtain MD Certifications within 6 months of employment.
