About the Role:
Hodson & Meister PA is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team in Miami, FL! This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced orthodontists in a patient-focused environment where you'll play a key role in creating confident, beautiful smiles every day.



Responsibilities:

• Assist orthodontists chairside during patient exams, consultations, and orthodontic procedures
• Place and remove orthodontic appliances including brackets, bands, and archwires
• Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and digital scans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
• Update and maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Coordinate with front office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an orthodontic assistant 
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, and appliances
• Dental radiography certification or willingness to obtain
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the Miami market
