About the Role:Daryl L Proctor DDS Dental Corporation is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic RDA Orthodontic Assistant to join our dedicated dental team in Placerville, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your chairside expertise to a practice that values quality patient care and a positive, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:- Assist the orthodontist chairside during orthodontic procedures, including bonding
- Take digital dental X-rays, photographs, and Scans for orthodontic records
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, compliant treatment area, Chair turnover.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care
- Document patient records accurately and update treatment charts in dental software
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure a comfortable, positive experience
Requirements:- Valid California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) a plus. On the job training
- Prior orthodontic assisting experience helpful but not necessary- On the job training
- Current X-ray certification and knowledge of infection control protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients of all ages
- Come with a good pleasant attitude and on the job training will be provided.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused dental environment
