What You'll Do
- Provide inpatient orthopaedic hand surgery coverage during scheduled call shifts
- Respond to emergent hand trauma and surgical consultations
- Collaborate with facility staff to coordinate patient care
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage, including back-up and on-call procedures
- Ensure timely surgical intervention when required
- Adhere to state and federal guidelines, clinical protocols, and safety standards
What You Need
- Valid and active medical license in Washington
- DEA registration
- Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship in Hand Surgery
- Experience with inpatient hand surgeries
- Comfort working in a call-only, inpatient setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a hospital or trauma setting
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving clinical environments
