The Opportunity<\/b>

SAMGI is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a collaborative orthopedic trauma program in Mesa, Arizona. This position supports a high-acuity trauma center and offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a well-supported, hospital-based environment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Schedule<\/b><\/span>

  • 183 shifts annually (24-hour shifts)<\/span>

  • Blocked scheduling with 7 day stretches<\/span>

<\/li>

  • Built-in recovery time between rotations<\/span>

Job Duties - What You'll Be Doing<\/b><\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients<\/span>

<\/li>

  • Participate in trauma call coverage at a high-volume trauma center<\/span>

<\/li>

  • Manage complex fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular injuries<\/span>

<\/li>

  • Collaborate with trauma, ICU, and emergency medicine teams<\/span>

<\/li>

  • Balance operative cases with inpatient care and follow-up clinic responsibilities<\/span>

Requirements - What We Look for in You<\/b><\/span>

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery<\/span>

<\/li>

  • Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma<\/span>

<\/li>

  • Experience managing high-acuity trauma cases, including pelvic and acetabular fractures preferred<\/span>

<\/li>

  • Eligible for Arizona medical licensure<\/span>

<\/li>

  • Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges<\/span>
