A Day in the Life:
The purpose of this role is to lead Operational Technology (OT) and Automation for a defined subregion within Bunge North America, ensuring that site infrastructure and system architectures align with industry best practices and Bunge standards, comply with corporate cybersecurity policies, and enable scalable Industry 4.0 capabilities, including edge-to-cloud connectivity and advanced digital use cases.
What You'll Be Doing:
Skills/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting operating assets in EIA (Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation) environments as part of an owner's team.
Proven experience planning, coordinating, and executing pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and system handover activities.
At least 5 years of experience collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines in a project or operational environment.
Experience in industrial operating environments such as oilseeds processing, grain handling, milling, chemical processing, agriculture, biofuels, food and beverage, pulp and paper, packaging, power generation, or industrial automation.
Strong project management experience leading capital projects with Total Installed Costs (TIC) exceeding $1 million, particularly those involving Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrical (ICE) systems.
Knowledge of industrial computing and Operational Technology (OT) networking systems preferred.
Strong understanding of hazardous location classification and rating assessments.
Familiarity with project quality assurance and quality control practices, including:
Inspection Requirement Specifications (IRS)
Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
Commissioning and startup quality processes.
Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of influencing stakeholders and driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Grain handling experience preferred.
