We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation department, providing expert care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute hospital setting
- Current State OT license and BLS certification
- Proficiency in charting with Cerner electronic medical records
- Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement personalized plans of care
- Strong assessment skills for patients across all acuity levels, including ICU to progressive care units
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work a Monday - Friday schedule with one weekend day per month
Nice to Have Skills:
- Manual Therapy, Lymphedema certifications/licenses
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Knowledge of inpatient rehab protocols for conditions such as cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacements, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinsons, and mobility assessments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- At least 1 year of inpatient acute rehab experience
- Familiarity with inpatient rehab team dynamics and multidisciplinary collaboration
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work a day shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Scrub color: Royal Blue; Black shoes
- This position requires travel within inpatient units and adherence to hospital policies
