    Description

    PURPOSEThe OT Network Administrator will support the Operations Division (Manufacturing and Warehousing) by managing the OT/IT infrastructure in throughout the manufacturing and warehouse distribution facilities.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    Assist with managing, maintaining, and supporting the OT/IT network infrastructure and related componentsAct as liaison between the SMC Operational Division and IT teamsReview and recommend network-related hardware and software technologies, designs, and servicesTroubleshoot and resolve network, application, and system issuesCoordinate changes to IT processes & systems (examples, Active Directory, backups, firewalls, network switches, software applications, SQL servers, VMWare environment) to minimize operational impactSupport current and legacy computer systems in OT environmentRespond to equipment downtime issues in the plant and establish any required outside resources to assist in responding to issues quicklyOrganize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without interruption of productionSupport a variety of technologies such as human-machine interfaces (HMI), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)Other duties as assigned

    Collaborative team environment in a shared workspaceCarry a company-provided phone & participate in on-call rotationGeneral office, computer room, warehouse, and factory areasOff-hours work and travel as requiredSitting for long periodsMinimum lifting requirements of 15 pounds

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Associate degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or relevant work experience1+ years of relevant related experience in a similar roleBasic understanding of ITSM Principles or ITIL4 Foundations certificationMust have proficient knowledge of operating systems, network systems, and IT architectureWindows systems administrationUnderstanding of network threats and appropriate mitigation techniquesExperience Active Directory Group PolicySaaS concepts and technologies (IDM, MFA, M365, ITSM)Experience with MS SQL serverWAN/LAN concepts and technologiesDNS, IPAM, NTP administrationFirewall concepts and technologiesExperience with VMWare, vSphere environmentsExcellent interpersonal communication skills
