Job Description

We are seeking an OTC Collections Analyst to manage a high-volume portfolio for local TV station advertising. The role focuses on collections outreach, discrepancy resolution, KPI reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or Billing and a proven ability to optimize cash flow, reduce aged receivables, and deliver accurate analytical reporting in Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Ad Sales TV Stations collections portfolio ranging from $10M to $125M across large and mid-size agencies.
• Execute timely collections outreach and follow-up to ensure payments within terms, maintaining accurate contact records.
• Manage and resolve high volumes of customer discrepancies in coordination with Ad Sales and key stakeholders.
• Analyze and report KPIs including cash targets, aging, DSO, and percent overdue; contribute to periodic cash forecasts.
• Prepare and deliver routine management reports, including discrepancy, cash package, and monthly aging reports.
• Support month-end close activities and collaborate with OTC center of excellence hubs and controllership teams.
• Partner with Cash Application to reconcile accounts, resolve remittance gaps, and ensure AR ledger integrity.
• Provide documentation to internal and external auditors and prepare customer refund requests as needed.
• Escalate changes in customer payment trends and advise Credit on accounts at risk.
• Use Excel for formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivots, and charts to review large data sets with hundreds of line items.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 0-3+ years in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or Billing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, including VLOOKUPs, pivots, and reporting.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with effective interpersonal collaboration.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to accuracy and deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and operate in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Team orientation with strong work ethic, integrity, and organizational skills.
• General knowledge of accounting principles is a plus.
• ERP or financial systems experience is a plus (SAP, Oracle).

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in media industry and high-volume enterprise environments.
• Collections experience and bilingual Spanish language skills.
• Comfort with AI-enabled or evolving OTC technologies.
