Retail Associates are key members of the Overtime Elite (OTE) Lifestyle Team, supporting the OTE Shop and overall fan retail experience. Reporting to the Retail & Marketing Coordinator, this position plays a pivotal role in the articulation of OTE brand identity through customer experience, service, and product presentation. This role provides end-to-end guest services within the retail environment on game days and select non-game days.

What You'll Do

The Retail Associate is responsible for personifying and championing Overtime Elite through a high level of hospitality. They are key contributors to our game day shop operations and build lasting relationships with fans by ensuring a smooth, efficient, and engaging shopping experience for the Overtime Elite community at all of our events.

Who You Are

OTE seeks Retail Associates who are highly motivated and proactive self-starters that are energized by a fast-paced retail environment, put our guests first in service and commitment, are solutions-oriented, and blend operational excellence with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to exceptional customer experience.

In this role, Retail Associates:

• Serve as the first point of contact by warmly greeting customers, introducing them to the OTE Shop & setting the tone for a memorable retail experience.
• Assist customers throughout the store by answering questions, offering product knowledge & guiding them toward items that fit their style and needs.
• Support a full selling ceremony by retrieving merchandise from the stockroom, offering size alternatives & ensuring customers receive correct items quickly & efficiently.
• Maintain an organized & clean sales floor through consistent folding, replenishment, and attention to visual details.
• Keep the stockroom structured and navigable, ensuring all inventory is stored neatly & accurately for efficient back-of-house operations.
• Complete transactions through Shopify POS (training provided) while delivering a friendly, seamless checkout experience.
• Engage directly with fans to build excitement & foster a connection between customers and the OTE brand.
• Support retail & brand initiatives by assisting with inventory audits, product receiving, restocking & occasional prep for content shoots (steaming, hanging, organizing apparel).

Ideal candidate skill sets includes:

• Consistent availability during the Overtime Elite & Overtime Select seasons on weekends, nights, and occasionally weekdays.
• Reliable transportation to the OTE Arena and a dedication to punctuality.
• Strong customer service instincts with a personable, friendly, and confident communication style.
• Ability to stay organized and maintain a neat sales floor and stockroom, even during busy periods.
• Comfortable working in a back-of-house environment, retrieving multiple products and sizes efficiently.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation for stock deliveries and inventory work.
• Ability to assist with merchandising and product preparation (steaming, hanging, folding) with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Interest in or familiarity with retail, fashion, sports culture, or youth culture.
• Familiarity with or enthusiasm for basketball and basketball culture.
• Fluent in OTE and Overtime content and platforms.

This position will be part-time and pay $15/hour.
