Outdoor Lighting Installer – Experienced Installers & Helpers

Lite Logics is hiring outdoor lighting installers in the Tampa Bay area. We're filling two levels: experienced installers who can run work, and helpers we'll train.

Experience is strongly preferred. We're especially looking for people with low-voltage, irrigation, landscape, or electrical backgrounds.

About The Role

Lite Logics installs landscape and outdoor lighting systems for residential and commercial customers across Tampa Bay. Installers work on customer properties, install low-voltage lighting to plan, protect existing landscaping and irrigation, and leave every site clean and finished.

Two Ways To Join

Experienced Installer ($25–$28/hour, based on experience)

• Hands-on experience in low-voltage, irrigation, landscape, or electrical work.
• Can run work on a job site: follow the lighting plan, set up the job, and keep it moving with minimal direction.
• Can position fixtures, route and connect low-voltage cable, make weatherproof connections, and troubleshoot problems.
• Can guide helpers and check that work is done right.

Installer Helper – Will Train ($18–$20/hour)

• No lighting experience required. We'll teach you proper low-voltage installation methods.
• Reliable, hardworking, and ready to learn.
• Any background in landscaping, irrigation, construction, or electrical work is a plus.

What You'll Do

• Load, unload, organize, and account for tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Lay out fixture locations and prepare cable routes consistent with the approved installation plan.
• Dig, trench, and restore landscaping to conceal low-voltage cable while protecting existing irrigation and plantings.
• Position fixtures, route low-voltage cable, make connections, aim and test lights, and complete installation checklists.
• Take clear project photos and record completed work, material usage, and issues with a smartphone.
• Keep work areas clean, secure tools, and follow safety procedures to protect customers and crew.
• Stop work and notify your supervisor if you encounter unidentified utilities, unsafe conditions, or work outside the approved scope.

Who You Are

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the designated reporting location in Tampa Bay.
• Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather, including heat and occasional rain.
• Physically able to perform essential duties (digging, bending, kneeling, lifting, and handling tools and materials) with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Respectful of customer property and able to communicate clearly with teammates and homeowners.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for photos and time reporting.

Compensation And Schedule

Experienced installers who can run work: $25–$28/hour. Helpers we train: $18–$20/hour. Pay within each range is based on experience. This is a part-time position of approximately 30 hours per week, with work at customer properties throughout the Tampa Bay area.
