As an Outreach Coordinator, you'll help bring that vision to life by connecting families with essential resources, building community partnerships, and ensuring they have access to the services and support they need to thrive.

This is more than providing outreach. You'll help bridge the gap between families and essential resources, build meaningful community connections, and make sure no family has to navigate challenges alone.

What You'll Do

As an Outreach Coordinator, you'll serve as a bridge between families and the resources that help children thrive. Through community outreach, relationship-building, and family engagement, you'll introduce families to valuable early childhood programs and encourage participation in services that make a lasting difference.

You will:

• Conduct community outreach through door-to-door visits, group presentations, networking, and local events to introduce families to available programs and services.
• Educate families and communities about the importance of quality early childhood development and the resources available to support them.
• Identify and engage families in targeted communities, encouraging participation in early childhood programs and services.
• Build strong relationships with community organizations, childcare centers, schools, Head Start programs, and other local partners to expand outreach and increase referrals.
• Connect with families to better understand their needs, listen to their concerns, and identify opportunities for support.
• Recruit and engage community volunteers to help strengthen outreach efforts.
• Participate in parent engagement activities at local early childhood sites and community organizations.
• Complete Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) training and certification and implement the program as directed.
• Maintain accurate and timely program documentation, reports, and required records.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and engaging work environment while supporting CHSs mission and values.

Job Qualifications

Education, Licenses & Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• Florida Driver's License within 30 days from hire with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle, required.

Experience:

• Two years working with children and families, required.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish or English/Creole, preferred.
