Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join a growing organization serving the commercial and residential construction markets in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

This is a hunter-focused sales role responsible for generating new business while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience selling architectural glass, metal products, specialty building materials, or related construction products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
• Manage and grow an existing account portfolio.
• Develop long-term relationships with contractors, architects, builders, and other industry professionals.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications to assist with preparing accurate customer quotes.
• Coordinate order requirements with internal departments, customers, and contractors.
• Follow opportunities from initial prospecting through order completion.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales process.
• Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
• Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory using a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of outside sales experience.
• Experience within the construction, architectural products, specialty building materials, glass, or metal products industry strongly preferred.
• Experience with architectural glass or metal products is highly desirable.
• Ability to read or work with architectural drawings and construction-related specifications.
• Strong business-development and prospecting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts while maintaining existing customer relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management abilities.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a territory-based sales position.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned market.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Ideal Candidate

The strongest candidates will combine a hunter sales mentality with established knowledge of the commercial construction or architectural products market. Experience working directly with contractors, architects, designers, or construction-related customers is particularly valuable.
