Outside Sales Representative

Hahn Systems, a distributor of MRO Industrial, Safety, and Steel products, is seeking a high-energy, self-starter to build and maintain a profitable sales territory in the Chicago/Batavia, IL market. The customer base consists of Industrial, Metal working, PVF and Construction related companies.

 

We are looking for a salesperson to service the Northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin area covering cities such as Beloit, WI, Milwaukee, WI, Kenosha, WI, McHenry, IL, Rockford, IL, Waukegan, IL, and Chicago, IL.

Outside Sales Representative Role
The Outside Sales Representative shall be responsible for procuring and maintaining customer relationships. Success will be defined by driving customer sales within their defined territory.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:  
This role works in an office environment and within a car. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee may be required to lift up to 20 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance. While in a warehouse setting, the employee may be exposed to the outdoor weather temperature and loud noise. This role may require some weekend or late-night work as the employee is the sole manager responsible for the location’s operation and emergency response. Travel requirements are up to 75% of the role.
