Nextier Cabinets is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to develop and manage relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, interior designers, cabinet dealers, and other trade professionals throughout the Atlanta market.
We're looking for someone who knows how to get in front of decision-makers, earn their business, and turn new accounts into long-term customers.
Existing relationships within the construction, remodeling, cabinetry, or building-materials industries are highly preferred.
This is a field-focused sales position for someone who enjoys getting out of the office, visiting job sites and businesses, developing new opportunities, and building a territory.
What You'll Do:
- Prospect and develop new builder, contractor, remodeler, designer, and dealer accounts.
- Conduct regular outside sales calls throughout the assigned territory.
- Visit job sites, builder offices, design firms, remodeling companies, and potential dealer locations.
- Introduce customers to Nextier Cabinets' products, pricing, services, and dealer programs.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, jobsite visits, industry events, and existing relationships.
- Build a strong pipeline of new accounts and active projects.
- Work with Nextier's design team to turn measurements, plans, and project requirements into professional designs and quotes.
- Follow up on quotes and opportunities to close business.
- Maintain relationships after the initial sale to generate repeat projects.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
- Provide product samples, literature, dealer materials, and other sales resources to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, opportunities, follow-ups, and account activity.
- Meet or exceed established sales and account-development goals.
Who We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven salesperson and business developer who is comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for leads.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Previous outside sales or territory sales experience.
- Experience selling to builders, contractors, remodelers, designers, dealers, or construction professionals.
- Existing relationships or an established book of business within the Atlanta construction or remodeling market is a major plus.
- Cabinetry, building materials, flooring, countertops, appliances, millwork, plumbing, or related industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities.
- Comfortable visiting construction sites and meeting customers in the field.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing a sales territory independently.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop long-term relationships rather than focusing solely on one-time transactions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

The right salesperson will have the opportunity to develop a portfolio of recurring builder and contractor accounts while being supported by Nextier's design, operations, warehouse, and management teams.
We especially want to hear from sales professionals who already have relationships within the homebuilding, remodeling, multifamily, construction, kitchen and bath, or building-materials industries.
