Fire Protection Outside Sales Representative-Core&Main

Territory: LA county - Orange County - Riverside County - Inland Empire

At Core & Main, we help keep communities safe by supplying the critical fire protection products and solutions that protect commercial buildings, industrial facilities, schools, hospitals, and public infrastructure. As an Outside Sales Representative, you'll be at the center of that mission, partnering with fire protection contractors, engineers, and end users throughout Southern California.

What You'll Do

As a trusted advisor to your customers, you'll identify opportunities, develop long-term partnerships, and drive profitable growth across your territory.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and grow relationships with fire protection contractors, engineers, developers, and project stakeholders
• Manage an established territory while actively identifying and winning new business opportunities
• Partner with customers on upcoming projects, helping them select the right products and solutions
• Collaborate closely with inside sales, operations, and leadership teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Stay informed on local market trends, construction activity, competitive activity, and industry changes
• Create and execute territory growth plans that increase market share and revenue
• Conduct jobsite visits, customer meetings, and project reviews to support customers throughout the sales cycle
• Negotiate pricing, manage customer expectations, and drive profitable business growth

What We're Looking For

• Proven success in outside sales, business development, or contractor sales
• Ability to build credibility and long-term relationships with customers
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
• Experience in fire protection, construction, industrial distribution, mechanical systems, plumbing, HVAC, or a related industry is highly valued
• Customer facing account management experience.
• Expense management, Project and Account revenue reporting.
• Experience with managing revenue/margin and planning/conducting meetings.

Compensation: This role is heavily performance driven with a current territory and excellent opportunity for growth! 50Kbase plus commissions-140K-150K at plan currently
