Job Summary: The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships. This role involves prospecting potential customers, presenting our company products, preparing quotes, managing client accounts, and collaborating with internal production teams to ensure customer requirements are met. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and skilled at identifying opportunities to drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer service.
What You'll Be Selling:Lettermans offers a wide range of commercial signage and graphics products, including:
- Business signs and commercial signage
- Banners and promotional graphics
- Construction fence wraps and jobsite signage
- Vehicle and fleet graphics
- Custom printed wallcoverings
- Window, wall, and building graphics
- Large-format printing and displays
Our products serve businesses of all sizes, contractors, industrial facilities, retailers, schools, and organizations throughout the region.
KeyResponsibilities: (included but are not limited to)
- Actively prospect for new customers through in-person visits, cold calling, and networking.
- Identify businesses and construction projects that need signage and graphics.
- Build relationships with business owners, contractors, property managers, and purchasing decision-makers.
- Develop a consistent pipeline of new sales opportunities.
- Grow repeat business by providing excellent service and maintaining customer relationships.
- Work with our Lake Charles team to develop quotes and coordinate customer orders.
- Meet and exceed sales goals while helping grow the branch's overall revenue.
- Expand sales opportunities into surrounding markets, including Beaumont and Orange, Texas.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- 2 - 4 years of experience in outside sales, prospecting, or business development.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a competitive drive.
- Someone comfortable walking into a business, starting a conversation, and asking for the sale.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong follow-up habits and the ability to manage a sales pipeline.
- A results-oriented attitude with a desire to grow their income through performance.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the sales territory.
- Signage industry experience is a plus, but not required. We're willing to train the right salesperson who brings energy, initiative, and a proven ability to generate business.
