Outside Sales Representative

Location: Northern Indiana, Southern Michigan (Travel Required) 

Reports To: General Manager

Compensation: $675.00 - $800.00 weekly + bonuses and commissions 

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our Sales team. This role is focused on developing and maintaining relationships with independent auto dealers, driving them to participate in our sales, and expanding our buyer base. The position requires significant travel throughout northern Indiana and southern Michigan. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit independent dealers to promote sales participation and drive purchasing activity.
• Build and maintain strong dealer relationships through regular in-person meetings, calls, and scheduled appointments.
• Leverage industry knowledge and contacts, particularly within nonfranchise dealerships, to generate new business opportunities.
• Represent the Sales team at industry events and dealer meetings, acting as a trusted resource and advocate for our services.
• Meet and exceed sales goals while contributing to overall growth objectives.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in floor plan sales or a similar automotive dealer service provider sales role preferred.
• Strong existing network and contacts with independent auto dealers preferred.
• Proven ability to sell, negotiate, and close deals in a competitive market.
• Self-motivated, professional, and comfortable working independently on the road.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel extensively, spending significant time on the road visiting clients.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
