Location: Seattle / Puget Sound (North and South Sound offices, hybrid field role)

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary: $100,000 to $120,000 DOE, plus uncapped commission
• Ramp support with draw protection written into the offer
• Monthly vehicle allowance
• Commission on deals you source that are delivered by other divisions of the company

About the company

Our client is an established commercial HVAC mechanical services contractor with a large West Coast footprint and the backing of a national parent company. Their work is service, maintenance, and retrofit for commercial buildings, mostly repeat business. Their Puget Sound branch is growing fast, and they’re adding a hunter to win new logos in a market held by long-standing local players.

The role

This is a pure new-business role. You’ll prospect, open doors, and close service agreements and retrofit projects with building owners, property managers, chief engineers, and facilities leaders. The branch has strong technical teams behind you, including deep chiller, boiler, and controls expertise, so your job is to bring in the work.

What you’ll do

• Prospect and build a pipeline of new commercial accounts through calls, site visits, networking, and industry events
• Sell planned maintenance agreements, repairs, equipment replacement, energy efficiency upgrades, and building automation
• Run discovery, walk buildings, and build proposals with technical and pricing input from operations
• Present to decision makers and close at target margins
• Partner with service, project management, and engineering to hand off and grow accounts
• Keep a steady weekly cadence of outbound activity and meet with sales leadership regularly

What we’re looking for

• A proven hunter with a track record of opening new accounts and closing B2B service or project sales
• Commercial HVAC or mechanical service sales experience preferred
• Strong candidates from related commercial building services are welcome too: roofing, janitorial, fire and life safety, electrical, elevator, facilities services, and similar
• Comfortable learning technical concepts and talking with facilities and engineering staff
• Self-directed, competitive, organized, and comfortable with Excel and a CRM
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
