Overhead Crane Operator – North Charlotte (NOW HIRING!)
About the Role
Hire Dynamics is currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Crane Operators for a growing facility in the North Charlotte area. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering weekly pay, free online courses, and a $100 referral bonus.
Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 5:00am – 1:00pm
- 2nd Shift: 1:00pm – 9:00pm
Pay:
- $20–$25/hr, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Crane & Forklift Operation — Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Material Handling — Load/unload inbound and outbound shipments; complete all required paperwork
- Product Identification — Understand product color coding, customer specs, and measuring devices
- Truck Loading — Secure loads using proper chaining and tarping procedures
- General Warehouse Support — Assist with additional tasks to support daily operations
Qualifications
- Overhead Crane Experience — Minimum 2 years in an industrial or distribution setting
- High School Diploma or GED
- Understanding of DOT load weight regulations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable work history and strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a physical exam (vision, hearing, mobility)
- Willingness to learn and support team operations
