Overhead Crane Operator

## Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Overhead Crane Operator to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA, 15003. In this role, you will be responsible for operating overhead cranes to move, lift, and position materials and equipment within our facility. ## Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position loads safely and efficiently.

• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

• Collaborate with team members to coordinate lifting operations and ensure proper load handling.

• Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including load weights and operating times.

• Assist in training new operators on safe crane operation and best practices.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on crane equipment as needed.

  Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in crane operation preferred.

• Proven experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial setting.

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices related to crane operation.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, load charts, and safety manuals.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
