Are you a night owl looking for a consistent weekend schedule and meaningful work? Home Instead is seeking a compassionate, dependable Weekend Overnight Care Professional to provide one-on-one support to an aging adult in the comfort of their home.

This is a low-acuity care assignment with a client who requires minimal hands-on assistance. While the pace is generally relaxed, this is an awake overnight position, meaning you must remain awake, alert, and available to assist throughout your shift.

Schedule

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights

• 6:30 PM – 7:30 AM

• Consistent weekend overnight schedule

• Up to 39 hours per week

What You'll Do

• Provide companionship, reassurance, and a comforting presence throughout the night

• Remain awake and attentive to the client's needs

• Offer assistance with mobility, toileting, and personal care as needed

• Help maintain a safe, comfortable environment

• Assist with light housekeeping and evening or morning routines

• Observe and communicate any changes in the client's condition or needs

• Encourage independence while providing assistance when necessary

What We're Looking For

• Dependability is a must! Our clients count on us, especially during overnight hours.

• Ability to remain awake and alert for the entirety of a 13-hour shift

• A patient, compassionate, and attentive personality

• Someone comfortable working independently in a client's home

• Strong communication skills and good judgment

• Reliable transportation

• Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required!
