Scion Staffing is seeking a dependable, professional, and hospitality-focused Overnight Front Desk Agent for an exciting opportunity with a hospitality property in Venice, California!

This position is ideal for someone with previous hotel front desk experience who enjoys providing excellent guest service, thrives in an independent work environment, and is comfortable managing overnight front desk operations.

The Overnight Front Desk Agent will serve as the primary point of contact for guests during overnight hours, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and professional experience while maintaining smooth front desk operations.

Please note: This position requires working independently as the sole front desk representative during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional guest service throughout the overnight shift.
• Welcome guests and assist with check-ins, check-outs, and general inquiries.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Answer incoming calls and provide accurate property information.
• Maintain accurate guest records and assist with reservation-related tasks.
• Monitor front desk activities and help maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Address unexpected situations independently and escalate urgent matters appropriately.
• Maintain clear communication with management and incoming staff regarding overnight activities.
• Follow established hotel policies, procedures, and guest service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hotel front desk or hospitality reception experience required.
• Previous experience working at a hotel, boutique hotel, inn, or similar lodging property strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working independently without another front desk employee onsite.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and attendance.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and resourceful when handling guest concerns.
• Comfortable using hotel reservation systems and standard office technology.
• Availability to work the required overnight schedule.

Schedule & Training

• Regular Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM.

Compensation

This position pays $25/hour plus a comprehensive benefits package!
