Overnight Production Technician in Georgetown, TX 78628

Pay:

$22/hr

Schedule:

• C Shift: Sunday - Tuesday, every other Wednesday from 6pm to 6am
• D Shift: Thursday – Saturday, every other Wednesday from 6pm – 6am

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with operations leads and supervisors to keep production processes running smoothly.

• Read, understand, and follow work instructions accurately.

• Install servers and switches into racks.

• Perform various tasks related to systems integration.

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or operational issues to help minimize downtime.

• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and quality control as assigned.

• Follow all safety procedures and promptly report potential hazards or incidents.

• Collaborate with production team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel to resolve issues and improve workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Previous 2+ years of experience in electronic assembly and production assembly is required.

• Experience using hand tools in manufacturing environments 

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and procedures.

• Ability to successfully pass a reading comprehension assessment.

• Must meet background screening requirements.

• Must be able to pass a drug screening.

• Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures and workplace safety practices.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using RF scanners or other scanning systems.

• Familiarity with 5S principles and workplace organization.

• Experience identifying and troubleshooting equipment issues
