Overnight Unarmed Security Officer – High-Rise Condominium.

Company: Security Management Innovations (SMI).
Location: Biscayne Boulevard Area, Miami, FL.
Pay Rate: $18.81 per hour.
Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
Position Type: Overnight Shift.

Position Overview:

SMI Security is seeking a professional, dependable, and experienced Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious high-rise condominium in the Biscayne Boulevard area of Miami.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a high-rise residential community, operating a gatehouse, conducting rover patrols, and using computer systems to document daily activities. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of customer service, attention to detail, access control, and maintaining a safe and secure residential environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the condominium property.
• Operate the gatehouse and verify residents, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
• Conduct routine rover patrols throughout the property and designated areas.
• Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Utilize computer systems to maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports.
• Enforce property security policies and procedures.
• Respond professionally to resident inquiries and security-related incidents.
• Communicate important updates to management and incoming security personnel.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Class D Security License.
• Previous experience in high-rise condominium security.
• Gatehouse and rover patrol experience required.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic reporting systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Strong observation, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Hourly Pay: $18.81.
• Work Days: Wednesday through Sunday.
• Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
• Days Off: Monday and Tuesday.
