Position: Occupational Therapist

Salary Range: $37-43 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation

Location: Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality therapy services to our residents. In this role, you will work with patients of all ages who have physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities to help them improve their ability to perform daily tasks and activities.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct evaluations to assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals

- Implement therapy interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and strength

- Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and techniques to improve their independence

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients

- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on how to continue therapy exercises at home

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist

- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred

- Knowledge of various treatment techniques and adaptive equipment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong organizational and time-management skills
