Package Designer

Now hiring a Packaging Designer for our Client. This New York-based accessories company is merging fashion with function, offering consumers a range of quality accessories at a reasonable price while making a statement. The brand aims to continually innovate with designs that reflect current trends and consumer preferences. This role demands creativity and a proactive approach to design, ensuring the packaging stands

out in the retail environment and captures the essence of their fashionable products. All applications must include a resume and relevant portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop innovative packaging concepts through research, understanding consumer trends, and analyzing the online and retail landscapes.
• Collaborate with experienced packaging designers, engineers, and copywriters to learn and optimize the toy packaging design process.
• Conceptualize ideas verbally and through rough sketches; create mood boards, sketch logos, and layout graphics.
• Perform competitive analysis and assist other designers in project development and design communication.
• Effectively communicate product strategies and features through innovative package design and copy.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
• Strong creative thinking, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated growth mindset: staying curious, embracing challenges, and continuously improving.
• 5 + years experience in consumer product packaging design that includes accessories and/or tech accessories exp
• Able to work in office Monday - Friday
