ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for assisting in the operation of the production lines by setting up,maintaining, and troubleshooting the packaging area. This includes but is not limited to placing finished products on pallets, wrapping, labeling and moving pallets. Also responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and professional appearance of finished goods and packaging. This position is a night shift schedule: 6pm-6am.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Proper packaging and staging of finished product.
• Follow all job-related work instructions.
• Maintaining a supply of necessary packaging materials in the packaging area
• Ensuring that the proper packaging supplies include but not limited to labels
• Keeping a record of pallets produced and batch numbers, recording information on daily reports.
• Maintaining and operating the shrink frame system.
• Recording and labeling all finished goods packaged.
• Ensure machinery is operating efficiently.
• Inspection of packaging quality
• Report any non-adherence to quality standards, defects, and malfunctions with equipment.
• Report any problems encountered and method used to correct, at the end of each shift.
• Clean, organize and dispose of all waste, during and at the end of shift.
• General housekeeping duties.
• Assist in production paperwork and training of new hires as applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma
• Prefer 1-2 year vocational training or associates degree
• Work in both hot and cold climates
• Be able to communicate clearly with all employees
• Must be able to lift between 50 pounds
• Must be able to bend/ stoop, sit and stand

Additional Requirements:

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection

Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.

• Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
